Tom Cruise''s son Connor launches himself as a DJ

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman''s adopted son Connor Cruise is entering showbusiness as a DJ.

The 16-year-old is focusing on a career in music and has set up a new music production company, CZ Entertainment, with his famous father and friend Jake Isham, 20, reported People magazine.

Connor has followed his famous parents into Hollywood in 2008 when he made his acting debut in the Will Smith starrer ''Seven Pounds'' and he recently completed work on his second film, ''Red Dawn''.

Performing under the name DJ C-Squared, the teen showed off his skills on the decks at the Artists Against Drugs event in Los Angeles and quickly won over the crowd.

Cruise and Kidman adopted two children, Isabella Jane in 1992 and Connor Antony in 1995, while they were married.

The A-listers separated in February 2001 and though they share joint custody of the children both Connor and his sister spend most of their time with Cruise, who is raising them as Scientologists with new wife, Katie Holmes.
