Britain's Grazia magazine reports: ''Tom's friends and family have urged him to take a break, but he has brushed off their concern.

''He is refusing to slow down and is trying to soldier on. He doesn't seem to be himself. He hasn't been working out like he normally does and doesn't appear to be eating well at all. His clothes just hang off him.''

Tom's hectic schedule could even be affecting his relationship with his friends for the worse.

The source went on to say: ''His way of dealing with this is to throw himself into his work, but as a result he's not looking after himself and he risks cutting himself off from people who care about him and want to make sure he's OK.''

The 50-year-old father-of-three has reportedly lost 14 lbs.

The death of his 'Top Gun' director colleague Tony Scott could only make matters more complicated.

The actor released a statement saying: ''Tony was my dear friend and I will really miss him...

''My deepest sorrow and thoughts are with his family at this time.''

Tom Cruise Pays Tribute To Film Director Tony Scott

TOM Cruise praised Tony Scott as a "creative visionary" as he added his voice to the tributes paid to the director, who jumped to his death from a bridge in Los Angeles.

The 68-year-old, originally from North Shields, was best known for action-packed Hollywood blockbusters such as Top Gun and Days Of Thunder, which both starred Tom.

Tom, who became a major name after being cast in the lead for Top Gun, said he "will really miss him".

"He was a creative visionary whose mark on film is immeasurable. My deepest sorrow and thoughts are with his family at this time."

Tony, younger brother of film-maker Ridley Scott, leapt from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in LA and his death is being treated as suicide.

There had been reports that Tony Scott was suffering from inoperable brain cancer, but the Los Angeles Coroner's office has said his family were not aware of any such illness.

Denzel Washington, frequently the leading man in his films including Crimson Tide and The Taking Of Pelham 123, said: "Tony Scott was a great director, a genuine friend and it is unfathomable to think that he is now gone.

"He had a tremendous passion for life and for the art of film-making and was able to share this passion with all of us through his cinematic brilliance," he added.

Tony was behind numerous slick action movies and worked with some of the biggest names in the film world, including John Travolta and Gene Hackman.

His other films included box-office hits such as True Romance, Crimson Tide, Enemy Of The State and Man On Fire.

Wearing an unbuttoned white shirt and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses that featured heavily in the classic blockbuster, Cruise was seen typing furiously in his blackberry.

The British-born director, who is the younger brother of filmmaker Ridley Scott, jumped from the Vincent Thomas Bridge spanning San Pedro and Terminal Island in California at around 12.30pm on Sunday, authorities have confirmed.

There is a buzz doing the rounds that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning to take Suri to school together on her first day.

According to media sources, parents have compromised on their daily commitments of film schedules. Cruise delayed his new project in London in order to comfort Suri.

"Tom has been filming his latest movie in London but has made plans to be in New York for Suri's first day of school, which will be after Labor Day.”

"Tom and Katie have been speaking on the telephone regarding Suri and Katie has been very supportive of Tom wanting to be there when Suri goes to her new school for the first time," said by a source.

Sources added that Holmes don’t want Suri to suffer from her parents disputes, that’s why she want Cruise to be with Suri on her big day.

Suri’s schooling was one of the reasons behind divorce because Cruise wants Suri to study with Scientology tutors, whereas Holmes wants her to be enrolled into a New York Catholic school.

Cruise is unhappy with the present situation but he has unwillingly accepted the fact. Sources said that both Cruise and Holmes have planned to get involve in all of the school activities in which Suri will participate.

Olga had high praises for Tom and told E! News: ''I was impressed...when he comes on set, he gives you so much energy, you don't even need to drink coffee.

''He lights everyone up. He's like a sparkle. He's a very generous partner. He gives a lot.

''He's very professional. He's very nice. Very polite to people.''

Tom's professionalism showed when he continued to shoot scenes for 'Oblivion' in Iceland despite his pending divorce because he wanted to ''finish everything on time''.

The actor stars as Jack Harper, one of the last remaining men stationed on a futuristic Earth who must defend the planet from an alien invasion.

Ukranian beauty Olga was able to get up close and personal with 'Mission Impossible' star while playing his love interest in Joseph Kosinski's apocalyptic film.

She hinted: ''It's going to be very romantic. It's sci-fi, but there's romance.''

The actress also got to meet Tom's six-year-old daughter Suri when she visited the film set, and gushed: ''She's so sweet! She's so adorable.''

As their daughter Suri, 6, spends time with each of them separately, the exes have worked out a "civilized routine," a source tells PEOPLE in the magazine's new issue, on newsstands Friday.

Cruise, 50, and Holmes, 33, "are talking," the source says. "They are both going to do what's best for Suri."

So far, that has included working out a smooth way to manage transitions for their little girl, who has spent her summer exploring New York City with her mom, who has primary custody, and taking trips to the Hamptons and Disney World with her dad.

But the vacation treats will soon be over: In September, Suri will start private school near her home in Manhattan.

Cruise and Holmes had previously opted to home-school their daughter because of the family's constant travel, but Holmes wanted Suri to enroll in school "to have that sort of stability and consistency in her life,” says another source – and Cruise is fine with her decision.

The 'Rock of Ages' actor - whose divorce settlement from Katie Holmes was agreed last month - took the six-year-old tot to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, last week and as a special treat he booked them into the suite in the iconic castle.

While the suite cannot be booked by guests for any price, Disney chooses who can stay there, so thanks to her movie star father little Suri was one of the lucky ones.

The 17th Century bedchamber - which boasts a 24-hour concierge and private elevator - features a 600lb antique limestone fireplace which uses fibre optics to create a fire with glowing embers, 8ft tall headboards displaying C for Cinderella and a painting of the Disney princesses that magically transforms into a television.

The bedchamber leads to a private sitting room where there are stained glass windows telling the story of Cinderella, while the garden themed bathroom boasts a night sky full of twinkling stars.

The suite - which was originally planned by Walt Disney as a very special vacation home for his family, but he died five years before the park's completion - also boasts a very special wake-up call from Cinderella.

Previous guests to stay at the Cinderella Suite include Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary there in December 2010.

Tom - who said he was ''blindsided'' by Katie's decision to file for divorce in June after five years of marriage - has been given extensive visitation rights to Suri and Katie was awarded full custody.

The father-and-daughter duo enjoyed some quality time in Disney World last week before he handed the little girl back to Katie in New York.

Tom, 50, also has two children, Isabella, 19, and 17-year-old Connor, with second wife Nicole Kidman.

Tom Cruise is allegedly in talks to purchase George Clooney's stunning Italian holiday home in a desperate bid to find peace following his very public divorce from Katie Holmes.

The Actor is said to be interested in purchasing the gorgeous Arechi castle, an imposing fortress-like building overlooking the sea, as it is reported that Clooney is considering a move to the South of Italy.

This is the second time they were seen together after Curise's much-talked about separation from Katie Holmes on July 9.
